Hope you all had a very happy new year and holiday season. 

Unfortunately, with the coming new year news of a case of rabies infection in a fox has been confirmed.  This happened in Montague.  A few miles away from Greenfield.  This case and the fact that another person in eastern Massachusetts has highlighted the fact that rabies is a real concern for your pets and for any domestic animal in your area both small and large.  This includes horses, sheep, goats, cows, etc. 

Please make sure your animals are up to date on their rabies vaccinations.  This is the only way to help protect them from exposure to this deadly virus.
